    There also is another good reference piece, "Studebaker Myths & Misconceptions" you can download HERE

    Both of these are good to have on hand (or copy and handout) at car shows. I made a display stand for them and folks do stop and read them. I also believe people view them as more "authoritative" than just me telling them things.

    1961, Safety padded dash? 55 door safety latch? Nice to say you are the first, but if they were ineffective, what is the sense. Only in a Stude have I ever had a door swing open, and one is more likely to hit the windshield before the dash in a 61 Lark.
