This was a frame off restoration, down to every last nut and bolt. Done by Karl Petersen, a true pro.
He sure bought a lot of parts from me over the course of 4 or so years.
He would send me pictures as he progressed, so I know how thorough the restoration was.

The 1963 Avanti owned by Pat Modlin and Karl Peterson of Portland, Oregon won Best in Class at Sunday's Forest Grove Concours d'Elegance (Class Q - Sports Cars & Tourers).
This is one super nice, super clean Avanti and it was in a tough class. Congratulations to Pat and Karl!
