Drove Studebaker to work one last time

I retired from General Electric today with 32 1/2 years service. I started there 44 years ago, had several breaks in service due to lay offs and career side tracks.
I drove the same car to work on my first day and my last day. It looked like the first picture when I bought it in 1972. The second and third pictures were taken today.

Wow that's cool! I wonder if my Dad did the same thing when he retired as I think he had his 54C the first day he started his life-long career with Kenwoth and it was still running and registered on his retirement day too. Congratulations and enjoy your retirement years! Junior

And the car definitely looks better than it did in '72. Doubtless you spared it the daily grind of baking and battering in that lot for most of those 44 years. Early Starliners are still a class act!
