    Concours d’Elegance of Texas

We applied to the Concours d’Elegance of Texas last fall to have our 1964 Studebaker Avanti R2 considered for the 2017 event. After the selection committee reviewed more than four hundred applications our Avanti was one of one hundred and twenty cars selected to display and participate in 2017 event which took place on April 23rd in Arlington, Texas. We found ourselves in the sports car class with a sort of weird make up of eleven cars in the class. When it came time we found our Avanti awarded a classwin. Great and proud finish to a nice day.

Stunning car. Looks like the judges knew what they were doing when they selected that car. Round eye 64 in the perfect color combination. If only I had Jay Leno's money....

Congratulations. Way to make Studebaker look good! People too young to remember Studebaker must wonder why they left the business.

Congratulations! That is an excellent Avanti. Even I only noticed a couple of safety related deviations.
