      Well......
At least it hasn't been "slammed".

Too bad the 57 President Classic (!) is a parts car.

A couple stripes of white will take care of the problem.
Honestly, I expected something a lot worse... and I like purple.

New set of springs should fix you right up.

I'd much prefer that unmolested '56 President as a starting point. Got extra engines and trannys, so could have 'er all back together and operable in a relatively short time. The purple thing does nothing for me. Maybe if it were Orange Crush....

If it's the car I think it is-- it's very sad to see what has happened to it over the last 30 years...

It's a '57. And if it's the one I think it is-- it used to be a running driving daily driver.
This makes me sad to think what may have become of the other sweet rides the owner had back then-- a '57 Packard, a '56 Champion two door, AND my old '58 Scotsman wagon.

However the purple doesn't do anything for me, if they slammed it might look better/different, at least it's on the road

I've been watching the Purple People Eater for some time. Was hoping to pick that one up, but no go. There's a few things about it I could do without, but overall I really like the truck.
