Hi Folks :
I am seeking the opinions of my fellow forum followers . Here is the question , we have 6 unconfirmed registries of which three have no contact person or email address , two are not members of the club with no email addresses and the last one has an incorrect email address . What would you do, consider these registries as no longer active ( dead ) and add them to the unrepresented group and start fresh OR ?? Would like to hear from anyone as the plan is to send the information I have to our webmaster on the 15Th of the month for him to follow up on.

Off & on I have been making a weak attempt to register all 1966 studebaker cars. I'm not internet savy & the registry exists as several tabs of an excel file. I have about 35 6 cylinder cars & about 100 v8 vin numbers recorded (not all are tied to owners). Unfortunately I've not worked on it since August of last summer. I'm not really sure how to proceed to share it with people & a good way to capture more vehicles.

Hi Stewdi :
You seem to know quite a few fellows who are involved and yes I do agree with you there are some out there who are not into the gas powered vehicles but rather the quieter times . maybe some time if you feel like it you could talk to one of these guys and see what they think . I am not pushing this registry thing as a unidentified person was so kind enough to email me and say so but to get the conversation going . Thanks to you I now realize that there other places such as you say museums . Not just the Studebaker museum either . Good to hear your thoughts and now I have a new path to follow for at least one Studebaker product . Take care hope to talk at ya soon .

Oh, l think you'd be surprised, Terry.
There are quite a number of vehicles out there, but the owners of many are not likely to plugged in to the SDC or ASC. Non-car oriented museums, the "horsey set", and people using them as front yard planters are not likely to be enthusiastic enuff to look into the heritage of Studebaker much.
