  • Empty Registries

    Hi Guys and Gals :
Food for thought for you , ever wonder why there are so many models of Studebakers without a registry ?? Here are a few that I can't find . 1964-66 Commanders Sedans ,1964-66 Wagons ,1957-59 Silver Hawk , 1961-63 Lark Hard Tops , 1961-63 lark Sedans , 1961-63 Lark Convertibles , 1959-63 wagons , 1959&60 Hard Tops ,and 1959&60 convertibles . Are there registries for any of these models of Studebakers or am I totally blind and missed them all . I have 5 of these models and would gladly register them if there was a registry for them . If our members thought about it I bet you a donut to a hole in the ground someone could probably name another couple dozen or so . If we think about it you could form a registry for one of these models if there was not one already . I know that there are nay sayers amoungst us who would say that the forum only reaches 15-20% of our membership but that is 15-20% more than what was started with . My last blog about registries stirred up quite a bit of interest so let's see what happens this time . If you are interested in forming a new registry I am willing to help .

I am not interested in forming a registry but there is not a registry for the Transtar series trucks that I know of. Just one more for the list.

      Old Fart,
the '59 wagons are included in my '59 Lark registry as there are so few, each possible make and body style would create too many individual registries. IE: All '59 Larks in one registry with appropriate descriptions so as to discern their differences.
      FWIW,
      Bill

        Hi Bill :
You do have a valid point separate registries would make the list rather long .What I am attempting to do here is get a more accurate and more easier way of joining a registry .I got most of the list from googling Studebaker drivers Club registries . The weird part is yours didn't appear . What you are saying is you manage the registry for all 59 Larks Convertibles , Hardtops ETC correct ?? I have a Hardtop that is For Sale but can't supply serial number at present due to 6 ft snow on it but will be glad to later . Could you please email me at not4u@nlis.ca so I may add you as the contact person for this registry , full name and email address is what I need . thanks Bill .
