Has anyone ever created one of these Fantoms? I think it would really be cool.

Not that I am aware of.

The one I intend to build has to wait in line.
Cars I am selling come first...

I have the perfect body to use for such a project: a 56 Commander F body coupe; but what I would love to build would be a
57 Packard built on the '58 J body.

One of the nicest looking 'Packardbakers' I've seen (in a picture) was a '58 Packard 2dr hardtop with a '57 Packard Clipper nose installed onto it....quite tasteful!

All great ideas of what could of, should of been. That's exciting that your planning on building one StudeDave. Although I'm a 53 C/K guy, I think the 56 Champion "The Sleeper" that Allan S. restored for the Show, may be one of my favorite all time Studes. I think a Packard done up kinda like his, with the same side trim, blacked out headlights, and Packard tail lights would be Boss.

Personally, I would love to see a 56 President nose on a 58 J body Hardtop. The chrome headlight bezels would really set it off.
