great buy on that chrome..... Cross your fingers if you plan that water pump in the trunk, on the road. I bought a HD water pump a number of years ago from a reputable vendor. Was in the trunk. Sold the car, kept the pump..... installed it in a next V8 and it whined & weeped from the start up.....Best installed in the garage....

Nice find! Re-pops list for about $40. ea & it will cost more that that for re-plating. I found a trunk full of sweet handles at Naugles's sale that polished up just as nice.

Very nice. Great find. It's always nice to look and find better parts than you are currently using.

    Swap Meet Finds

An annual swap meet held in a smaller city 130 miles south of here is generally considered to be our 'first' old-car event for the year, hence the title 'Early-Bird Swap Meet, put on by the Southern Alberta Antique & Classic Automobile Club. http://saacac.com/early-bird-swap-meet/

In the first hour, I did come across some interior door handles and a window crank for some 1963-65 models which I got for $5.00 for the four, and later, found an unseized, rebuildable V8 water pump also for $5.00. This morning, I gave the door and window cranks a light cleanup. The chrome on all four are remarkably pit and scratch-free. I will end up using them for the '65 Cruiser.
