  • PS 5018 bare block- free!

After reading the discussion about a correct LS stamped engine for a '57 Clipper, I thought I should look at the block someone gave me a long time ago, saying someone might want it for the engine number. It is PS 5018, making it a later '57 Golden Hawk engine. The main caps had been removed and mixed up so it may need line boring. However, it is free to anyone that wants to pick it up in Damascus, Oregon (near Portland)

Yes Rich, the way I see it, "they just don't make 'em anymore",...and every Stude engine that gets melted down, well, is truly GONE FOREVER!!

If Mike ends up going to Phoenix, let me know and I will have him bring the block and I can bring it back to Tucson.

If you check my pics I posted of Chuck Naugle's estate sale, there were rows upon rows of Stude V8's & various 6 cylinders as well. I hate to think of what will be their final fate.
