  • WAAAM M29 Weasel In Oregon Snow

I was looking at the latest e-mail from the WAAAM in Hood River Oregon and noticed they had published a photo of their intrepid Studebaker M29 Weasel out enjoying the snow.
This is a wonderful museum if you are ever in the area and are looking for something fun to do. It has been mentioned several times here on the Forum as well as in Hemmings.

Now THAT'S really cool. The only running Weasels that I've ever seen were at the Int'l Meet in Dover, DE. Really neat vehicles.

That is what they were designed for - looks right at home. Got an article back in college about a town somewhere in Colorado in the 1970s that had some kind of epic snow storm - only vehicle emergency personnel could us was a Weasel to reach people in need...

I've always wanted to own a Weasel, but it's not practical where I live now.

That's the first Weasel I've seen with it's own flag pole to fly the flag. LOL
