    They may not have made a R4 GT, but here's a start on building your own.

    Wouldn't that be the same emblem used on the grille of '64 Super Lark-types? Guess it'll sell for more with "Hawk" in the sales description!

      Wouldn't that be the same emblem used on the grille of '64 Super Lark-types? Guess it'll sell for more with "Hawk" in the sales description!

            No, the 64 Lark badge is a different casting, so it's R4 GT only. (thicker rim with notches for the grill mesh on the Lark one) Finding the matching side plastics will be a issue.

                    Sure, I glued a set on my tool box back in the 70's. I think they were under $5.00 a pair at Standard Surplus. They had a gray and black circle in the center if I recall correctly.

                        maybe I'm over simplifying, but I'd think that the ovals would be easy-ish to make, since the tooling has already been done for the R1 and R2 variants.

                        Of course, there would be a very limited market for them...

                            I know the guy selling it. He is a great guy. Look at his other stuff for sale. You wouldn't think there would be someone with so much R series stuff for sale.
