'37 Coupe-Express earns AACA senior

At last weekend's AACA Fall Central meet in Galveston, Texas, my Coupe-Express was awarded its Senior award. What fun. The Wig-Wag taillight fascinated spectators. There was a vey nice '51 Starlight Coupe on the field and Fred Duplechin had his '88 Avanti convertible there.

Note the Dick Quinn - supplied reprint of Coupe-Express advertising. It was great to have stuff like that to display with the truck.

Now that I have this out of my system, it's time for the CE to become a driver. It did very well on the 160 mile ASC tour in the heat at the International meet in Dover, Delaware in 2014, but will do even better once I get the overdrive hooked up. Tom

Congrats, Tom! I am sorry that I was not able to meet you & Fred there. I had planned to head to Galveston early Sat morning, but a sudden death in the family Fri evening abruptly changed my plans.
