I love the 36 and 37 coupes. More pictures from different angles will hep sell it. And a fresh Commander six from 36 to 60 will make it young again.

That car is a good candidate for a redo. A coupe like that is on my short my short list of pre-war cars I would like to have, but I gave up on that dream a long time ago.

as far as I know 37's never had a back window that opened or came with a rumble seat .. and this one has neither

I had a 1936 that had a front window and rear window that opened ... called "factory air "in 1936 ha ha

I aslo understand that in 1936 the factory had so many complaints about leaking front and rear window they sealed them up in the 1937 models:p

this coupe is underpriced at 13,000 IMHO .. if it was just pulled out and cleaned up and put roller tires on it it would bring 18,000 over on a hot rod website

I just want to help my friend get it mover .. he's a pack rat .. now sitting in "life's front row seats "

I was hoping someone on this forum would jump on it ..1937's are "rolling artwork"

and here's a real cool 36 ...with the opening windows front and back

As has been pointed out by John all of the '37s had the stationery windows front and back. They were, however, available with the rumble seat, the last year for this option.

Richard .. good to hear from you ...I had a call the other day for 37 caps from a street rod shop in Texas do you have any left ?

I have a old shop manual if you want it and I can find it i will ship to you free its an original that came with my 37 yellowed but mostly all there

I sold my 37 to a guy in Alaska... a mistake but oh well:mad:

John; Thanks for the note. Yes, received the call from the guy. He wanted the caps for the artillery wheels. I do have the caps for the disc wheels but not the artillery (see below). The caps are identical in appearance but the inside diameter is different so mine will not work on the artillery wheels. Part number 189718. Correct for all 1937 Dictator and Coupe Express (with disc wheels). Price $350 for set of four or $90 each. Add $10.00 postage. PayPal, cash or personal check.

Appreciate the offer on the Shop Manual but I do have one. Maybe someone else has a greater need? Maybe the guy that buys the coupe?

I parked it over on the HAMB and well it looks like its going to Chicago to be a hot rod .... at full price --plus the cost of shipping a dead horse fro CA to IL ..

waiting for the funds to arrive ...
