  • Looking to Trade Clocks (1942 for a 1946)

    Hello,

The title says it all. I had a posting on the Studebaker Swap page sometime back offering to trade straight up a NOS (without box) 1942 rectangular face clock (gold) for the 1946 rectangular face clock (black), condition needs to be comparable. I know that these are rare has hens teeth, but I have a reason to believe there are still some out there. I know the great debate has been put on this forum several times of what is "correct" for a 1947 Studebaker M-Series in regards to clocks and would like to avoid that. Anyone who can help me out please send me a PM and I will send out pictures. I am only looking for a straight up trade as I feel it is best for both parties in that: 1) I get what I am looking for and 2) the other person will not have to pay a ridiculous amount so that I can't buy what I am looking for.

    Thank you

No, I do not think so, the white (top) clock you post is a '41. He mentions he has a '42 gold faced clock to trade so I assume it would be like the one I am showing below.

Thank you Brad for posting the pictures. Richard is correct, I have the 42' gold face clock that he graciously posted as well.
