Congrats, Doug. Looking forward to the pix. What's the serial number ; how close to the end of production is it?
Nice to have that A/C. My '55 is black but a flathead six and also six volt positive ground - so an ice cube tray and a fan is all I get if I want to keep things simple.
'66s are nice cars. You'll have lots of fun.

Your Studebaker would have been probably produced sometime in the first week of February, 1966. My '66 Commander was built Feb. 14th, and the serial number is C133783. Is yours a 194? or a 230? What color is it?

Was it this color? If so, it is one of the four 1966 'spring colors'.

That photo was taken in Portland at the 1993 International Meet. (That bridge in the background is the I-5 going over the Columbia River toward Washington.)

Were you there[?]

It was called Lime Yellow. But is that what color yours was originally?

The green on the 55 lemon lime color is close to original color. The color now is like dark olive drab in a metalic. Does the 66 have a coded number to tell color I can't find it. Doug M

I have been to that location (that's why the photo looked familiar), but I was not there in '93.:(
