  • Commemorative Plaque Installed in Hamilton On

    Hi all,
Just to let you know that on September 10, our Hamilton Chapter unveiled a plaque to be installed in Hamilton On. overlooking the site of the former Studebaker production facility at the corner of Mars Ave and Wentworth St. There are pictures of this event on our Facebook page. "The Hamilton Chapter Studebaker Drivers Club". https://www.facebook.com/The-Hamilto...4050455164400/
We are very proud of this accomplishment. As well, we delivered a plaque to the Studebaker Museum to be on display beside the last Studebaker produced in Hamilton. We had a great deal of assistance on this venture from the Canadian Avanti Owners Association, the Ontario Chapter, the Studebaker Drivers Club, the Studebaker Museum and our own chapter and its members. We are very proud of this accomplishment. Roly Lusted, president Hamilton Chapter

Both plaques are 2 feet by 3 feet. Click image for larger version

Thanks so much, funny enough the plaque was made in Long Island at a place called Fossil Industries. Roly.

Mark, thanks so much, coincidentally, our '64 Avanti came from Thousand Oaks in the fall of 2001. It was quite the effort in research getting it done!
