I have three body tags souvenirs of dead end projects in the 80s
14G C3 454 I have no rational memory of why I purchased the car except it looked neat. Gutted interior, bad wiring, '60 engine non running, and some sheet metal damage, but not much rust. After an extensive period it became obvious it wasn't going to proceed. It became parts before being recycled.
62V K6 318. I actually intended to restore, but again became too much and I had another GT. It did have that early close ratio 4 speed which to me never made sense coupled to a broad torque range engine. It also had the ash trays in the door like earlier Hawks. It was pretty rusty and not being able to sell it intact it also became parts.
63V K6 1442 Again purchased without reason. It was pretty worn out and engine frozen. It too became parts.
Hopefully many of the parts from these cars are still running around the Northwest or elsewhere.
What is this all about? I have no idea why I kept the the tags and have no use for them.
I will mail these tags (US address only please) to the first person who requests them.
