South Bend connection.

I just realized yesterday that my other mechanical interests, my Wheel Horse garden tractors, were also manufactured in South Bend. I have always wanted an old pickup to haul them around with, guess it needs to be a Wheel Horse Red Studebaker.

They were darn good tractors, all my dad would buy. He could get about 20 years out of them, and only bought a Craftsman after the Wheel Horse name disappeared.

I mow my yard with a 1970 Commando V-8 and run my 1968 W-H snow blower on a '75 B-100. The '70 was rebuilt before I got it, the '75 although pretty sad looking is original, it was a gift from my late cousin. It will eventually get restored, I also have a '68 Raider 9 and a '71 CG-8 awaiting restoration. I had a couple others but unfortuantely had to get rid of them....... had to make room for Studebaker parts.

I also have 2 David Bradley tractors, one is a 1948 my Dad bought new, I still have the original sales receipt. The other I just bought and haven't ID'd yet.
