  • Today at the Paxton Products building

I was in Santa Monica yesterday and I had to stop by 929 Olympic Blvd, to see if it was still standing. Much to my surprise the building has not changed much in the past 50 years. It is vacant should anyone want to start a Studebaker related business.

Nice photos, Bob. I've never been there but I can recognize it from old photos with some Studes in front of it.

I worked around the corner from there back in 92. Parking in the area was a premium so I had to park on a freeway overpass & walk by there, gazing inside seeing product being made & hoping, by some chance that I spot a box with Studebaker on it. Hey a guy can dream cant he !!

Back in the early 80's I did some bench racing in the front office with Vince. He was a cool guy who didn't begrudge his time to two young un's from Canada.

I'll have to pass this along to my dad. He spent lots of time there in the '60s.

That's a good looking building with lots of history. Thanks for sharing Bob.
