I'm still working out some of the details, so for now this is just me fishing for some input....
During April of next year, there is a chance I will be making a trip to Ohio in my former U-Haul van. Rather than come home empty I thought I would offer to stop in Indiana (or anywhere else along the way?) for anyone needing something large/heavy/bulky transported to the West Coast- specifically Washington State. I'd likely take I80 and/or I90, but may consider other routes if needed.
The van is one of U-Haul's old 17 foot box vans. It's V-10 averages about 8-11 MPG depending on load and terrain. It'll haul just a bit over 3000 pounds, and tow about 6000 pounds. A box trailer may be in the cards as well.
Again- this is just me putting it out there for anyone who might be interested. No details are firm or final until I know I'm making the trip. I'd hope to know the answer to that in the next several months...???
