I owned a Flight Hawk for several years and this boggles the mind. Absolutely amazing the 185" would survive running the Mille Miglia; even more amazing the Champion brakes would have kept the 3400# car out of the ditch for 1000 kilometers. That it finished in the top forty is literally beyond belief; a tortoise and hare tale if there ever was one!

You do have to wonder WHAT a "3000 V6" might be?? A misidentified 185 C.I.D. Flathead I Six, or some kind of actual V6?

Hmmm, 3000 CC = 183.0712 C.I. So close to stock, it COULD be!

Rich, to compete in the Mille, it would have to have had the stock 185".

It appears to be a European-market car with metric speedometer, and extra lights. It would be interesting to see the Production Order on it.
