Is this a 1946, or a 1947 M-16?

I saw this advertised on Craigslist as a 1947, but wouldn't the 47 have a hood ornament?

I believe the deluxe hood ornament was an order option, not a year specific item. Many '47's do not have the ornament.

Trying to remember from an article I read many years ago but I think the front bumper changed in 47. I cant remember for certain which is correct now but I think the narrow bumper is the later style which would make the truck here a 47 or 48. Steve

Get the serial number (not the body number) from the seller and you can look up the year it was made.
