  • looking for vinyl top wax for my 66 daytona?

    like to find the pastetype , i have the liquid kind but i dont think it is very long lasting, my car sets out ? been looking not found any yet , any idea ????

    I used Mother's for vinyl and leather. It cleaned the top and looked like new .

            i just got he car about a month ago, dont even have it turned over to my name yet, but will in a month or so, did not know there was a registry for these, how do i do that ? dannyo.

                Dan, putting it on the registry is easy! Go to the Club home page (up top here) then click on "resources" then click on "registries" & when it opens the 66 Daytona registry is right on top. Serial number, body number (from cowl tag) exterior & interior colors, Transmission, & unique options you might have like am/fm radio, air conditioning ect.

                Not many 66 Daytona's made so your in a tight knit group here. Congratulations !!

                          I just uncovered an old (not opened in years so not sure of how much) can of Turtle Wax Vinyl Top cleaner and protector.
                          If you want it pm me and just pay for the postage.

                              Try to keep the car under some sort of cover. Vinyl tops don't hold up well to 'sitting out'. Mine's due for its second vinyl top!
