Is your car a Commander or Champion?
I have a 1949 Champion four door parts car that you can buy cheap.Engine turns over and many good parts.
No gas tank, but rolls and I need it out of here. $800.00
I also have a convertible original rear window and some top hinges, screw drive top actuator and most mechanical parts.
I live in Joliet Illinois. Intersection of Interstate 80 and Interstate 55.
I also have the original body and chassis manuals for sale.

Anyone owing a Studebaker is encouraged to join the Studebaker Drivers Club (SDC), if you are not a member I would suggest you join. The following link takes you to a list of vendors
        http://www.studebakervendors.com/.

Mr Kapteyn is a well known and respected vendor. The largest vendor is Studebaker International, they probably have the largest stock of NOS (new old stock) parts anywhere and they also publish a catalogue of their items. Hope this helps and if you need information on "how to do" or "where to find" this forum cannot be beat. Good luck.
