A tip of the hat to Jane & Gary Ash & crew for a well organized SDC International meet....I've been 'under the weather' all week, but did make it there today and enjoyed the show greatly!

We saw many cars we'd never seen before (REALLY liked the 'Speedster ll' convertible roadster)....Weather was perfect, and we saw several old friends and even a few SDC Forum buddies.

I'm sure many photos of this meet will be posted. I took several, which I'll post soon!

Thanks for posting the pics. Can you explain the purpose of the extra side air ventilation intake? At first I thought it may be air induction but can't see any evidence.

This whole Speedster 2 concept came from Bob Bourke drawings for a proposal. The drawing had dual vents. Vic and Connie have much to be proud of, and nicer people you'll never find.

I just got back, had a great time. It's a 200 mile drive for me, the longest yet after putting the car back together last summer. It's earning my trust as I venture farther and farther. Maybe South Bend next year!
Thanks to all the volunteers who made it possible. I caught up with some friends, met some new ones, and put faces with some forum names. Glad I went, wish I could have stayed for the banquet tonight.

Sorry but you have it WRONG, clearly One can see the Door Panels/Seat Pattern "55 Speedster". and We have to wonder what this Project actually started Life as,possible 55 - would have to see the SP. either way a fine Piece.
