Hi

Have been searching my files of Turning Wheels and other publications for an article, of fifteen-twenty years ago, detailing the lead up to the 1933 receivership, Vance & Hoffman restructuring and the '34 model development, not finding it.

If you recall this article, please tell me where you found it. Still looking, it has to turn up! The downside of saving so many collector car publications.

Thanks!

Steve

"fifteen-twenty years ago"? HA! That sounds just like me! I think the article in question must be in November 1975 TW, pp.10-14, written by Dave Dudey, titled 'Studebaker Came Back". There may be another, but this is the only one I found in my index.

Hi Dwain

Thanks for the memory 'nudge', I'll have to check if I have that issue. Seem to recall it might have been in an old AACA, or newsstand old car magazine, haven't ruled TW out, though. Meanwhile, back to the stacks!
