My dad passed away and had a Studebaker Lark parked at the farm. I am unsure of what year. It is in tough shape, but maybe some of the parts could be valuable to someone. It is located near Beulah, North Dakota. Online pre-bid is open. Live auction starts at 10am MST Saturday. For a picture and to place a bid, please follow the link below:

Also up for auction, 2015 Challenger, 1972 Mercedes Convertible, camper, ect.

Thanks for looking!

Scott

1960 Lark but hard to tell if it is a V8 or six. TT on the back means Twin Traction. Other makes call it Positraction. 127,000 Larks made in 1960. For anyone in ND they may need a good parts car.

Dang Bob... thats a pretty hard sell for anyone needing to drag it home further than a couple of blocks.

Yeah, I know. I already plan to have a scrap metal salvage dealer coming to the farm to haul all of the cars and scrap metal away if they don't sell. It didn't cost me any more money add the Lark to the online auction - it was a flat fee for all of the items. I figured I might as well try to find out if somone would like it for parts. $50 is the minimum bid, plus your milage to pick it up!

A TT car would most likely be a V8

:) Right. It's a Regal with automatic transmission, Twin Traction, and front and rear bumper guards, probably had a radio, plus who knows what options we cannot see. Chances are better than 50/50 it's also a V8. :) BP

I would like to add that if you are interested in the vehicle, the online auction states that you have to pick it up on 7 days. However, for this vehicle, I would give you 3 months to pick up because it is just sitting at the farm and doesn't need to be moved. I thought I would share if that helps anyone with their decision.

The body indicates it's a six. Look closely at the rear where the VI script would go. You can see an outline and also the 2 holes that clearly indicate it was originally a 6.

I like the Suzuki.

Beulah area is pretty dry. Avg of 16.6" rain and not tons of snow either. That car has 1966 plates (with later sticker too faded to read). Looks pretty low for rust as evidence of the front fenders. It may be pretty solid underneath for someone looking for a better shell to use for a project.

If a person from MN or WI needed a body parts car, they could do a lot worse than this one.

I guess the VIII emblem has 3 pins?

That seems to have been the case. Here is a factory photo of a car being assembled and shows a different hole pattern. Plus, you can fairly well tell from the outline left on the paint on the blue car.

The Lark did not go at auction. If someone is really interested, it is free if you pick up. Thanks!

scottmfrank, a very generous offer, thank you! Hopefully someone will take you up on that and save this, at least for parts.

Scott as I said in my pm. if floor and frame are not rusted I want it. If I can let it set there a couple months that helps also as I can set up a road trip without doing a rush trip. Pm me back with contact info and I will call you. Looks like good parts for my champ project. Picture below.

Did the Suzuki sell?
If not perhaps swvalcon and I can come up with a rescue plan.

Scott consider it gone. If I can let it set there until maybe the first of SEPT. That would help as my brother said he would be able to do a road trip by then. I will pm you with my contact info.

Sounds great! I'm glad you can use it. I'll send you a PM. September 1st is fine. Let me know when you plan to head out so I can either meet you there or give you directions if I by chance cannot make it.
