I believe this is tastefully done.
Will sit back and wait for the usual suspects to post what they usually post.

Not my cup-of tea but I agree it appears 2-B a well done custom. If I had the room & $$$ I would try for it.Now all U have 2 do is wait for the nit-pickers to chime in !

He can buy new surrounds now....
(But I like his work around treatment)

I agree, sweet ride...was featured in Rod and Custom (RIP) a few years back. I especially liked the interior and cool 'floating' console. cheers, junior

Nice to see another Lowboy prowling the streets.
I'd love to see the interior and floating console.

Bob nice car. I like the fact that he didn't chop the top. The 53- up coupes are low enough with out making gun slit windows.

That's kinda nice. And for a '55 I found this to be a nice treatment for the grille.

Very tasty car.

Nebraska custom builder Gary Gerbeding built that for his wife.

Bob Bourke would like it. That's good enough for me.

If it's a chop it doesn't show in the picture or is such a small amount it was hardly worth the work.

It looks like the crease is lost in the front fender.

That was My first thought, but could it be reflection causing doubt ?

Bob, do You know what Tail Light Lenses those are? and it looks like "in place of the Rear Fender Stainless" the Seam was created as part of the Body :!:

If that top is a chop that was the biggest waste of time I've ever seen.

To me, it makes the roof line follow the body line and not look flared up in front. The best chop and/or single modification one can put on a C/K body in my opinion. Of course, opinions vary with individuals. Beautiful car eventhough green's are not high on my favorite color list.:!:

Yes, it's a "gentleman's chop." More work on a C-body than a K-body.
