Again I attended the Memorial Day car show sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Chapter of the AACA in Boalsburg, PA, one of a dozen towns that claim to be the birthplace of Memorial Day. 54641
There are always at least a few Studebakers and Packards. These are familiar.

This year a late entry arrived and someone said, "Look at that Studebaker!"

5464254643 It's a 1972 Chevy 1-ton dually with a 502; frame shortened and narrowed to mount a '51 R series cab. Very nicely done. The owner uses it to pull a two-car trailer and was uncertain if he would be welcome at Studebaker events. I told him anyone seeing it coming down the road would say, "Look at that Studebaker." Maybe we could enlist him to haul two Studebakers to the next meet! :D

Thanks for posting Brad. That "Yeller" truck has to be one of the best customs of the C cab I've seen yet. The more than half century between the manufacture and design of the Cab and Bed, to me, blend perfectly.:!:

Thanks for the pics Brad. Gotta wonder how many people have/will cut their legs on those tailpipe extensions on that Hawk??? Yikes!
That Yellow Truck is exactly what I've been saying for years that the Studebaker National Museum needs to pull their trailer.
Very nicely done. C'mon SNM Boys!!!!!

I looked closely at the "dually". The mating of the cab to the box is the best I've seen in a long time. Great looking truck!

If you look at the Packard picture above and look between the cars you'll see a very familiar Studie Bullet Nose between the cats. HMMMMM, wonder who owns that one?
