If it's 232 or 259 blocks, possibly not. If it's 289 blocks with crankshafts extant, or Detroit Gear automatics or T86 overdrive trans, perhaps. What do you classify as "Stude V8 cast iron"?Brad Johnson,

259 block is the same as a 289 block. The differences are
-crank
-pistons
-serial number (except for 55)
The rest is the same.
