Here is Scott Palmer's Stude bodied , Fuel Engined door slammer.
This is not Nitrous , it is Nitro . 10 - 11,000 Horsepower potential .

(He has a very good Battery Hold Down )

The pic is from BangShift , the link is to Palmer's Facebook .

Both (Pro Mod types and home made like Jeff's) types of cars have their places, and it's cool to see/watch both types of cars.
People have (tried to) run Pro Mods on Nitromethane in the past. Normally it's just been a..."lets see what happens" type thing. They then go back to Methanol and or nitrous oxide pretty quickly.
Best of luck to them, but without a "wing" effect in the back, down track traction will be minimal, handling will suffer. Palmer should know this with his background. A flat rear deck isn't gonna cut it...not to go very fast anyway..!

I just think it is cool, and remarkable, that this 63 year old body design is still so highly respected. Anything that gets people asking about Studebakers is good by me.
