Yes, in the return line outlet, either at the fuel pump elbow to the carb and return line (hose nipple with small +/- .045 diameter hole inside (original style), or in the outlet of the Fuel filter to the return line pipe. This is for an Avanti, but I assume all R engine cars used a return line to the tank.
