Avanti radiator

Does anyone know of a contact for a new radiator for 1964 Avanti with the automatic?
I am weighting out the price to repair or a new one if available?

Only new ones I know about are $800 aluminum jobs, unless you find a NOS one somewhere.

Check your local radiator shop on rebuilding yours with a larger core. The larger core will provide better cooling.

I t just occurred to me that Jon Myer just bought a parts Avanti with a NOS radiator so you might call him.

I'd just buy an aftermarket aluminum racing radiator from Summit or Jegs. It's not a direct bolt in and not original but with a little fabrication you're in business -and for less than $200!

The only source for a new radiator may be the one Jon Myer may still have. Your best bet is to have a radiator shop redo yours if you want to keep it original. If not, go to an aluminum. Also I know Bob Ziff has at least one and possibly two parts cars and may have a good used one for you. If you need his contact info contact me off line and I will supply it.

I should have a good '66 available. I'm adding more rows and going to aluminum. Also have the original AC coil and shroud.
