  • Lark vs Champ

Are floorpans the same for a Champ pickup vs. a Lark 2 or 4 door i'm talking about 1960 and 1961. I know the Champ is shorter overall.

I think 59,60 would be the Years to consider. but the Pans will be different because of the Truck Frame,I'm guessing the change is where the flat part of the Floor is.the front portion up the Fire Wall may be like the Lark.

The basic floor stamping is the same. It differs where it is trimmed. The Champ has slots cut for clearance to the frame rails & is cut for the raised portion (under the seat) for clearance to the fuel tank. The cuts for the frame rail have additional stampings that gradually rise to the rear, covering the frame rail cutouts. These stampings I see mostly out here rusted out the worst than the floor itself. My 62 has them mostly intact & I have thought of making a mold for both sides & casting them in fiberglass, then just screwing them on to the floor pan.
