I'm watching this grade-B potboiler called " Second Face" on TCM, and it's making me furious! Why? Because Ella Raines is driving her '39 Pontiac too damn fast, and crashes it into a really nice old M-series stake truck and dents the fender. O, the horror, the horror!

How 'bout the old black & white Superman episode, where Superman chunks an entire pristine 1955 Studebaker Sedan, full of bad guys, over a cliff?
I mean, good grief!!!
With all those "SUPER" powers, why didn't he simply pick the car up, fly over the nearest prison yard, or Land Fill, dump the creeps out, and gently set the car down in the parking lot?
