It's a 58 Packard Hawk, ONLY 588 were built. It's "the" last Packard produced.
In one word, Yes by all means try to save it.

As stated, it is a 1958 (the only year of Packard Hawks). There were 588 built.
I would not attempt to restore that car, but there are a lot of rare/valuable parts there. If you do not want to go through the difficulty of parting it out and selling individual parts, you could put the whole car up for sale (here and/or eBay).Gary L.

DO NOT PART OUT THIS CAR ! ! Try to buy it. If you can get it, assess it for restoration. If its outside your abilities, there would certainly be a buyer out there willing to pick it up. This is an extremely rare and desirable car. Even if you cannot do it yourself, you could make a little money from the deal.sals54

I would definitely try to purchase it! Its worth saving for sure. I would not part it out if I were you. A car like this is maybe worth more as a whole than in parts. If it is beyond your abilities to restore, sell it to someone who can and make a nice profit.
