Anything you adapt will require some fabrication. Why not just build something more versatile, like I did on my Ford Van chassis? Building things out of steel tubing is not exactly rocket science. The corners are cut off because it is also a tow truck, and you don't have to build the tool boxes - just a simple flat bed with removable side panels is a lot more versatile than a pickup box. I used some chrome wire shelves for the side panels.

I too have seen the ranger beds on Champs. I assume you mead the "Flareside" bed. I really like the look. I believe the Flareside bed came out mid-1993 on the new Splash models. By 1995 the Flareside was available on non-Splash models. Originally it came only on the standard cab but eventually was available on the extended cab as well. Now, I do not know if the Flareside beds were longer on the standard bed than the extended cab.Joe Roberts
