That is just awesome. I have seen several incredible builds using '50 & '51 Studbakers lately.

Beautiful, I bet fitting that glass was a real chore. Nice upgrade to a classic beauty.

I was wondering if they used a New Beetle second generation roof. It kinda looks like it.
I see a Mustang shifter too.

I am not a big fan of customs but this one does it for me. What Studebaker might build as a retro car if they were still in business.

I seem to remember it was a Mitsubishi Mirage....

Also, if it was mine - I'd take out the jet exhaust, and put another bulletnose there.

              Maybe it was an Eclipse?

              ditto about the rear bulletnose

I was thinking a different VW connection.

                  THAT'S IT!

Forget that VW stuff. The new Bug wasn't even produced when this car was finished over 5 years ago, and it's obviously NOT a Karmann Ghia.

Nice smooooth look to it, I really like the big round Dash Gauges.

This car belongs to a guy from Pixar. Or did. The greenhouse was from a Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Not much '51 about it, aside from the grilles. Bullet is '50, and the dash looks more '50 than '51, and the headlight doors are '52. The jet exhaust and the little blivets on the rear window look kind of hokey. Otherwise, a nice car, and well-proportioned. I'd love to have it my garage.
