When the new '64 Studebakers were introduced I was a 17 year old high school student. It was "love at first sight" with the Avanti, the GT Hawk , and the Daytona Hardtop. Now that I'm an old xart and have a buck or two, I see lots of Avantis and GT Hawks for sale. Where are all the '64 Daytonas hiding?...I hardly ever see one for sale.

I restored this one. It left the factory Strato Blue, 259 V8, 2 bbl, automatic, front bench, Dana 27 w/3.07 gear (open). Now it is Laguna blue, 289 V8, 4 bbl, 4 speed, front buckets, Dana 44 w/3.54 gear TT. Very tight car. Very fun to drive. We've had it on the road 1 year and put 3300 miles on it. It is a really fun car.Neil
