Man, that's pretty! And I'm not even that much of a fan of green![^] Or GT Hawks, for that matter.[|)]

Say, JDP.... What would you guess would be the final number that speedo needle could reach in stock form on an unlimited stretch of road?[}][}][}] What rear gears is Sid carryin'?

        Miscreant adrift in
        the BerStuda Triangle

        1960 Larkvertible V8
        1958 Provincial wagon
        1953 Commander coupe

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

I'd guess 130 plus with the 3:31's, since one did 140 on the salt flats back in 63.

That's probably a good guess JDP. The Hawk on the Salt Flats actually did closer to 150 and I think I remember it had 2.93 rear gears.
I was going to mention to you that your NOS gauges had a problem since the tach was not reading zero. Then I noticed the other gauges. . . duh, the car must have been idling when the photo was taken.
It looks pretty good. . . for a green car.

Thanks, but installing NOS parts on a car is not rocket science.
