    Just think what this could mean (or could have meant) to the owners of Studebaker if they still had patent rights to the concept! Ka-ching....

        I don't believe Studebaker would have had patent rights to the hill holder. It was a Wagner product they used called No-Rol. Of course much later, when Egbert was at the helm, Studebaker owned Wagner.

            Demonstrated Hill Holder technology to a GM of a Subaru Dealership several years ago using my 36 GT Hawk as the demonstration vehicle. He just chuckled when we were on the hill and my feet were on the dash as he got the point. Oh for a patent.
