  • Studebaker sighting

Last Saturday, November 7, late morning, east bound on Highway 1 (Trans Canada), west of 232nd street overpass in Langley Township, British Columbia, passed a 1947-49 Champion Starlite coupe. Tulip Cream, wide whitewalls and regular BC, not collector, licence plates on it. Weather was awful with heavy rain and poor visibility, but driver was maintaining a steady 80 kph. Anyone in the area know it?

There is an ex-member of our Chapter over here on the island that has a '49 Starlite Coupe in Tulip Cream, but it is a Commander model not a Champion.
