It occurred to me today how lucky many of us that have connections that help us out all the time. Not just the Internet, but friends in the right places. Today I drove Caesar to my favorite auto parts store where I can walk behind the counter and match up parts at will and had 4 ounces of Regal red custom matched for nothing, then drove to my auto repair shop for a front end alignment.
They were a bit busy, but had a lift open which they allowed me to use so had some paint and undercoating spray delivered and spent a hour detailing the chassis. When we finally got Caesar on the alignment rack, I walked my mechanic friend through a dead nuts on alignment using tips I learned from others on the forum. OK, I often buy my paint guy lunch, and treated both the mechanic and owner to a Gyro, but I get much more back. I know StudeBob is "connected" too, as many of us are, but let's all make sure we take care of those that take care of us. I wonder if I'd get in trouble for buying lunch for one gal at the DMV.
