Did any '60s Transtar one-ton pickups make it out of the door with that wide bed box? Those would have been even more mismatched than the Champ!

1963 Champ "Stu Bludebaker"- sometimes driver
1957 Silver Hawk "Josie"- picking up the pieces after an unreliable body man let it rot for 11 years from an almost driver to a basket case
1951 Land Cruiser "Bunnie Ketcher" only 47M miles!
1951 Commander Starlight "Dale"- basket case
1947 Champion "Sally"- basket case
1941 Commander Land Cruiser "Ursula"- basket caseTags: None

No. They were only available as cab/chassis or with the old 9' P1 box or stake bed. The wide ex-Dodge box was only available on the Champ.
OTOH, it would have interesting to see what the company would have done if someone had ordered one . . . .
(For one thing, the 8' box would have been too short for the 131" WB.)Skip Lackie
