  • Frame / Springs: I can't find info.

Hey guy's and gal's, I'm looking for info on spring size and rate on the front of a 60 lark 4dr v8 auto. I can find springs but they are redicuisly (?) priced but can't find the spec's.

Many folks buy the aftermarket springs that fit the rear of an Oldsmobile. They are a variable rate and are heavy enough for the V8. Federal mogul P/N CC655. Come in pairs.

Go to Auto Zone and ask for Duralast RCS655V. The pair will be $50.13 delivered to your store. More if delivered to your home.

The more correct but expensive option is Original Studebaker spring rate and Part Number newly Mfg. Springs from Coil Spring Specialties Co. in Kansas, made in good ol U.S.A. supporting OUR Jobs! NOT China's.

Duralast is like Craftsman, a store brand. They are made by Moog in Tennessee.
