Fuel System: GT Hawk Gas Tank in a Speedster?

My 55 Speedster project was missing, along with many other pieces, a gas tank. There is a local club member that has a GT gas tank that is clean.
Will I be able to use this tank, or did the tanks change over the years from 1955 to 1962

The rear tank mounts changed when the spring hangers were moved, around '57-8?. I used a '56 tank in a '62 frame, and had to modify the left rear tank bracket, not a big deal. Everything else fit.
