In the search of the history of my 57 GH (orig leather interior), contact has been made with the grandson of the orig owner, now 91. All the principles are still with us since the history was compiled in 1998, I hope to confirm the memories recorded then and maybe find out something new.
The grandson mentioned the name of Jack McGinnis as someone in Studebaker that Mr. Wechter was involved with at the time. He believed Jack was the "head" of Parts & Service for Studebaker during the late 50's and through to the end. Can anyone with knowledge of Studebaker employees add anything or confirm this?
