      These are the shuttle gears right and left. Used '59 - '66 Lark and Hawk. True original parts are sintered bronze. Reproduction parts are machined from brass stock.

          And they break, and are dangerous. I use steel gears off a AMC product, and you will never drive away from the stoplight staring at the roof!

              That's what I was thinking also. I'm surprised Studebaker didn't use steel gears.

                  I don't know what year it was, but I removed some from a early 70's Ambassador, and they worked great on a GT Hawk I had at the time.
