What is the proper oil filter setup for an early (before April 1962) 289 engine in my GT Hawk?

This is a '61 Hawk with the '61 Engine colors, but same Optional Filter installation requiring a Fram PB50 or it's Wix or NAPA cross reference Part Number Filter.
